Questions

When can I get Avrit?

Avrit is in private testing and coming soon to iPhone, iPad and Android. Write to us if you would like to hear when it is ready.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no sign-in. Your Avrits live on your device.

How do I add an Avrit?

Tap +, pick a suggestion or type your own, and tap Add. You can also find ideas in Collection.

How do I mark one done?

Tap Done on the top card, or swipe it to the right. You can also tap Done ✓ on a reminder. Tapped by mistake? Use Undo on the “Logged” message. To log an earlier day, open the Avrit and choose “Log a different day”.

What is the difference between rolling and fixed?

After each finish (rolling): the next date counts from the day you log Done. Fixed dates: the Avrit stays on a calendar grid, and finishing early or late never shifts the dates. Change it under Rhythm in the Avrit’s detail.

How do I end or delete an Avrit?

End keeps its history: open the Avrit and tap “End this Avrit”. It waits under Ended in Collection, where you can revive it. Delete removes it with its moments and photos: tap ••• on its card, or open it, then Delete and confirm. In Collection you can also swipe left for End or Delete.

Reminders are not arriving

Open Settings › Reminders, allow notifications, check your reminder time, and tap “Send a test notification”. On Android, battery or power-saving settings can delay reminders; opening Avrit puts its reminders back in order. Reminders are scheduled on your device, so they need notifications allowed for Avrit in your device settings.

How does iCloud sync work?

On iPhone and iPad, turn on Settings › iCloud sync › Sync with iCloud on each device, signed in to the same Apple account. Your Avrits, history and rewards are encrypted on your device with a key kept in your iCloud Keychain. If Avrit says it is waiting for the sync key, turn on iCloud Keychain for your Apple account on that device. Photos stay on the device where you added them. iCloud sync is not available on Android.

Why does a photo say “On another device”?

Photos are never synced. With iCloud sync on, a moment you photographed on your iPhone shows this placeholder on your iPad, and the other way round.

How do points, levels and badges work?

Every Done earns 10 points, plus 5 when it is on time, 3 with a photo and 2 with a note. Points move you through ten levels, from Spark to Legend, and there are fifteen badges to earn. Late still counts, with a warm welcome back. Turn celebrations down or off in Settings › Feel.

What is “AI help” in Settings?

It is for Avrit AI, an optional helper that is not available yet. Until it is, Avrit suggests from its own ideas on your device. If it is switched on later, it stays off until you say yes, and you can turn it off in Settings › AI help. See the Privacy Policy.

Can I turn off sounds or haptics?

Yes, in Settings › Feel: Sound, Haptics, Motion, Celebrations and Photo after Done. Avrit also follows your device’s Reduce Motion setting.

I deleted the starter Avrits and want them back

Settings › More › Restore starter Avrits adds any of the five starters you don’t have. Nothing is replaced.

How do I delete my data?

See Delete your data for step-by-step instructions, including iCloud and backups.
