Delete your data
How to delete data from Avrit, the app by Big Helpers Software and Solutions Private Limited.
The short version
- Avrit has no accounts, so there is no account to close and no Avrit profile on our servers.
- Your Avrits, history, notes and photos are on your device: delete them in the app, or delete the app.
- If you used iCloud sync, clear the encrypted copy in your iCloud as described below.
- For our web server’s logs, email us.
1. Delete things inside Avrit
- One Avrit: open it and tap Delete (or ••• › Delete on its card), then confirm. Its moments and photos are deleted too. With iCloud sync on, it is removed from your other devices as well.
- A photo: open the Avrit, find the moment under Moments and choose Remove photo. The moment, its date and note stay.
- Your name: clear it in Settings › You.
- Avrit AI choices: Settings › AI help › Turn off plans and timing, or Turn off photo notes. Nothing more is sent.
2. Delete everything on a device
- iPhone or iPad: delete the Avrit app. This removes everything Avrit stored on that device, including photos.
- Android: Settings › Apps › Avrit › Storage › Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Menu names vary a little by phone.
3. iCloud sync (iPhone and iPad)
Turning off “Sync with iCloud” stops syncing, but it does not delete the encrypted copy already in your iCloud. That copy is in your own Apple account; Big Helpers cannot read it or delete it for you. To empty it:
- With sync still on, delete your Avrits and clear your name in Settings › You on one device.
- Tap “Sync now” in Settings › iCloud sync and wait for “Last synced”. Your other devices receive the deletions.
- Turn off “Sync with iCloud” on every device, then delete the app if you wish.
A few small records stay in the encrypted copy, such as markers for deleted Avrits and the badges you earned. They remain encrypted with a key that only your devices hold.
4. Device backups
If you back up your device (iCloud Backup or a computer backup on iPhone and iPad, or Android’s backup to your Google account), Avrit’s data may be in those backups. You can manage or delete backups in your device’s settings or your Apple or Google account. We have no access to them.
5. Server logs
Avrit AI is not available yet, and Avrit’s server keeps no copy of any request sent to it, answer or photo. When Avrit AI is switched on, its fair-use counters are deleted automatically within 2 days. Our web servers keep standard access logs (network address, time, address requested, result, app or browser type), without request content.
To ask us to delete log entries, email admin@bighelpers.in with the subject “Avrit data deletion”, the approximate dates, and your public network (IP) address if you know it. Because Avrit has no accounts, this is how we find the entries. We will delete the matching entries we hold and confirm by email.
6. Emails to us
Ask us to delete your emails and our replies, and we will, unless we must keep them by law.
